The Student Psychiatrist is open for International Students with an EHIC/GHIC, Aon or Aetna insurance.
Our team comprises of psychiatrists, specialised health care psychologists, psychologists, psychotherapists, psychiatric nurses and psychomotor therapists.
We offer diagnostic assessments and treatment to adults aged 18 years and over for the following disorders
- Mood disorders
- Anxiety disorders
- Trauma- and stress-related disorders
- Neurobiological Developmental Disorders (ADHD, ASD)
- Obsessive Compulsive Disorders
- Somatic symptom disorders

Insurances
European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) & Global Health Insurance Card (GHIC)
If an EHIC/GHIC insurance (European/Global Health Insurance Card) can be provided, the invoice will be sent directly to the health insurer.
Aon Student Insurance
Aon Student Insurance covers a limited number of sessions of our treatments. Please check your Aon Summary of coverage or contact us for more information.
Aetna
Aetna will cover the treatment. Please check your coverage. The invoice will be reimbursed via the patient.
Exclusions
In some cases, The Student Psychiatrist may not be able to provide the appropriate psychological/psychiatric care:
- Patients who are crisis-sensitive.
- Patients with acute suicidality.
- Patients with a long psychiatric history.
- Patients with addiction problems (such as alcohol, drugs, gaming or sexuality).
- Patients with serious anger issues or delinquent behavior.
- Patients with a severe personality disorder.
- Patients with a psychotic disorder.
- Patients with serious eating problems.
- Patients who cannot adequately communicate in English.
