- What inclusion and exclusion criteria does The Student Psychiatrist use.
Inclusion criteria
We offer diagnostic assessments and treatment to adults aged 18 years and over for the following disorders:
- Mood disorders
- Anxiety disorders
- Trauma- and stress-related disorders
- Neurobiological Developmental Disorders (ADHD, ASD)
- Obsessive Compulsive Disorders
- Somatic symptom disorders
Exclusions
In some cases, The Student Psychiatrist may not be able to provide the appropriate psychological/psychiatric care:
- Patients who are crisis-sensitive.
- Patients with acute suicidality.
- Patients with a long psychiatric history.
- Patients with addiction problems (such as alcohol, drugs, gaming or sexuality).
- Patients with serious anger issues or delinquent behavior.
- Patients with a severe personality disorder.
- Patients with a psychotic disorder.
- Patients with serious eating problems.
- Patients who cannot adequately communicate in English.
- How do I refer a patient to The Student Psychiatrist?
You refer the patient to Psychiatrie Noord (AGB 22221122) via ZorgDomein. The Student Psychiatrist is a complete part of Psychiatrie Noord. Your patient will therefore be treated at Psychiatrie Noord.
- Do I refer a patient to The Student Psychiatrist or to Psychiatrie Noord?
You refer the patient to Psychiatrie Noord (AGB 22221122) via ZorgDomein. The Student Psychiatrist is a fully integrated part of Psychiatrie Noord. Your patient will therefore be treated at Psychiatrie Noord.
- Does The Student Psychiatrist have contracts with all health insurers?
The Student Psychiatrist has contracts with all Dutch health insurers.
For foreign insured persons, no agreements have been agreed, but care is reimbursed from the following insurances:
- EHIC/GHIC
- Aon (maximum reimbursement under the policy conditions)
- Aetna
- Does The Student Psychiatrist maintain a patient stop for some health insurers?
For the following health insurers, The Student Psychiatrist currently has a patient stop:
- CZ Group (CZ, Ohra & Nationale Nederlanden)
- My patient has Aon insurance, can I refer to The Student Psychiatrist for treatment?
The Student Psychiatrist (Psychiatrie Noord) has specific agreements with Aon. Aon insurance is not a health insurance, which means we can only offer very short treatment. We will assess patients with Aon insurance extra keenly on the inclusion criteria.
